Classic blood orange tree, widespread mainly in the Etna areas, cultivated in the Catania and Messina plain, but also in the Conca d’oro areas in Palermo. Lush fruit during the summer period and used both for food and as an essence for scents and environments. Its pigmented pulp, which reaches deep red, almost violet hues, makes it rich in antioxidants.
